Salaam! I’m Alyssa, a Muslim Mexican-American printmaker from Dallas, Texas, residing in the Bay Area of California. My linocut stamp and relief print work reflect my faith, culture, and passion for sustainability and supporting small businesses. I truly hope my art, which blends the identities of culture and Islam, provoke curiosity, meaningful thought, and joy.
My love for printmaking began nearly a decade ago. I’ve carved more than 100 stamps for small businesses around the country. I’m honored to have built relationships with entities like the Amon Carter Museum of American Art (Fort worth) and KERA-PBS, NPR (North Texas), hosting workshops and speaking about printmaking.
